It would take 16,000 ST506’s to reach the memory of the drive in WalMart (again sitting on the shelf, not behind a locked cabinet). At $2000.00 a pop, it would cost me $32,000,000.00. Now that would have been a nice sale, but would have been stolen by Jim Scharffe or Mike Daniel. Here is another perspective. If stacked on top of one another, they would be as tall as a 667 story building. If from sea level, they would stack high enough to top the tallest building in Downtown Denver. If sold with a cabinet and power supply, Josef Rabinowitz would be retired. "

"We both have been into computers since 1970's & currently own 6 OSBORNE's in working condition. Although we use DOS now, we miss cpm & how actually FAST it was compared to Windows. We miss dBase. Append as well instead of Access now. We still have data on 5 1/4" discs we need to put into the dos machines we use now. Sorry to hear you are leaving the business - we certainly hope you find a buyer who will keep the collection intact! Best to you & your wonderful efforts!"

Magnavox Videowriter 350 word processor system in excellent condition except for small break in black plastic cover. Includes software on disk.

Atari 800XL (sys 2) Atari 800XL (sys 2) ADDED (9-1-05)

Atari released the 800XL computer in 1983. It was a low-cost version of the Model 800. Uses the same cpu as the Model 800. This unit is in fair condition and includes Atari XM-301 modem and Atari 1050 external floppy plus instruction manuals and software.

HP Model 9826 Computer HP Model 9826 Computer ADDED (8-29-05)

HP Model 9826 all-in-one computer replaced the Model 9825. Features 6800 cpu, 264Kb RAM, 5.25” floppy drive and 8 expansion slots. Nice built-in 7” monochrome display. Runs HP HPL, BASIC and Pascal. Claim to fame is its use by Disney to make the movie “Tron”. This unit is in fair condition.

Apple II+ System (sys 7) Apple II+ System (sys 7) ADDED (8-29-05)

Apple II+ with dual Apple Disk II drives and NEC Model JM-1201 Monitor. In June of 1979 the Apple II Plus replaced the Apple II and added AppleSoft Basic and enhanced graphics capability. The II Plus was replaced by the Apple IIe. Note: This item is no longer part of our collection as it has been sent to a new PC museum for display.

Amstrad PC6400HD20 Amstrad PC6400HD20 ADDED (8-21-05)

Vintage Amstrad PC6400HD20 IBM PC Clone. Released in 1987. Includes 20Mb hard drive and internal 5.25” floppy drive. Same as the PC1640 but released in US market. Complete with Amstrad PC-CM monitor and Apex Action T-1000 dot-matrix printer made by Epson.

Toshiba T1200 Notebook (sys 2) Toshiba T1200 Notebook (sys 2) ADDED (8-19-05)

Toshiba T1200 Notebook was one of Toshiba’s highest selling notebooks. Released in 1987 features Intel 8086 cpu, 640Kb RAM, 20Mb hard drive and was the first notebook to offer a swappable battery pack. Original retail $6499.

Casio FX-750P Personal Computer Casio FX-750P Personal Computer ADDED (8-19-05)

Casio FX-750P Personal Computer in original box complete with additional RAM and instructions. Very nice condition. Replaced the FX-720P. Has built-in BASIC, test 1x24 characters and QWERTY style keyboard. Released in 1985.
